Description

I originally designed this tool for my own daily use while working with automation and CNC equipment. I needed something small enough to keep on a keyring, but strong enough to handle stubborn cabinet latches, disconnect releases, and enclosure hardware without feeling like a flimsy giveaway key.

The Puffin gives you quick access to standard double-bit style control cabinet locks, many 1/4-turn semi-flush latches, larger clamp latches, and common disconnect release points. It also includes a tapered hollow-ground driver tip that can reach disconnect handles, smaller clamp latches, and many external overload reset plungers.

Made from thick stainless steel, the Puffin is built for daily field use. It rides easily on a keychain, clip, or cord, but still gives you enough grip and leverage for real technician work.

FEATURES:

▪ 1/4 inch hex bit driver with strong N52 magnet retention. Designed to be the perfect depth to accommodate as many shank styles as possible – including short double-ended bits

▪ Scalloped T-handle geometry for added grip and torque

▪ Tapered hollow-ground drive tip for common disconnect releases and smaller latch slots

▪ Large parallel-face flat driver for quarter-turn latches and larger slotted hardware

▪ Deep scalloped faces for improved grip, feel, and control

▪ 5 mm attachment hole for larger key rings, clips, lanyards, and cordage

▪ Thick stainless steel construction for strength, durability, and daily carry

The Puffin is a smaller, more useful alternative to bulky control cabinet keys. It keeps functions that technicians actually use within reach, without adding unnecessary size to your pocket or keychain.
