A functional addition any electrician’s everyday carry – check out the 24-61 “Violator” key for electrical enclosures, control cabinets, and select door interlock safety switches. As a technician working with automation and CNC equipment I use these frequently for many various tasks I encounter on the job.
Providing easy access with prongs that fit standard double-bit style control cabinets as well as many 1/4-turn semi-flush latches and larger clamp latches. It also has a hollow ground tapered screwdriver tip that fits disconnect handles, smaller clamp latches, and is long enough to engage most external overload plungers.
*** This particular model is not made for particularly stubborn door latches. If you encounter machines with hard to turn latches you will want one of the keys with shorter proportions. ***
The key also fits a handful of common door safety switches. In some fields and with some equipment it is required to bypass door interlocks to perform common maintenance procedures. This function is not to be taken lightly and used infrequently and in short duration with great care. People can and do get hurt this way every day. Use appropriately.

* The Violator-badged variation is a limited run. Only 13 will be made. These will have 2 digit serial numbers from 01 to 13. #01 has badging on both sides. The others have badging on one side and a blank on the other. Aside from these there are only 3 prototypes out in the world.
* Ophelion-badge variations use 3 digit serial numbers starting at 014.
